Now that Mthunzi has recovered from his coma, Xolile is beyond worried and frightened. She told Romeo she wants to run away and start a new life with him and their child, and he’s all for it.
Mthunzi is no longer in a coma and while his mother may be relieved, Xolile is afraid that he will be hell-bent on getting revenge against her. She is the one that put him in hospital after all. In a desperate effort to avoid spending the last part of her pregnancy behind bars, she turned to her knight in shining armour – Romeo. Xolile wants to start a new life with new identities with Romeo and her child, and he’s actually excited about the idea.

Mthunzi may be awake, but it seems that he won’t be speaking. At least not yet. The doctors don’t know why, but he’s not responding the way they had hoped – he’s awake but not doing anything other than blinking his eyes. Boniswa is probably secretly smirking, but her joy won’t last long once she finds out what her daughter is about to do. As always.
