Festive season road statistics to be released
Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga is releasing the festive season road traffic statistics on Wednesday.
It includes the number of crashes, deaths, and injuries on South African roads.
A total of 719 people were killed in crashes in the first three weeks of December.
The figures will give an indication of whether motorists are adhering to the rules of the road and whether law enforcement efforts are working.
