After doing extensive research in December they found that the figures which were sitting at 10 072 999 last year November, were now sitting at 9 676 966. It was rumoured last year that the popular telenovela would come to an abrupt end because of contractual issues. The Broadcast Research Council also released some more figures on some of the popular shows that broadcast weekly. It revealed that SABC 3 was not doing too well as none of its shows had reached a million viewers.
