KZN flood relief packages distributed

Relief packages amounting to more than R15-million are being distributed to communities in the uMgungundlovu district affected by the recent flooding in KwaZulu-Natal.

At least 112 families will receive temporary residential units and more than 150 will receive building material vouchers.

While this community is no stranger to promises, the KZN Human Settlements MEC Jomo Sibiya is confident and his talk is all about action.

The MEC says his department will be visiting other areas to ensure that all the people who have been affected get the help they need.
