Maskandi star Qhoshangokwenzakwakhe “Qhosha” Sibisi’s new song has set tongues wagging.
The track Amageja Awalingani, which means men have different 4-5 sizes, has started a debate between men and women.
According to the song, women forgive their partners easily when they are caught cheating but men don’t forgive because of different 4-5 sizes. Qhosha told Daily Sun men were calling him a sell-out but he was brave enough to talk abut issues people were afraid to confront.
“As an artist, it is my duty to sing about the issues affecting the community. I need to bring them to the spotlight where everyone will see them,” he said.
Qhosha, who is from Eshowe in KZN, said people must not avoid important issues.
“The main reason men don’t forgive their women for cheating is because they don’t have equal 4-5s and become jealous,” he said.
“Often when a woman has cheated, the man will think the other man has a big 4-5 and he will become jealous and lose self-confidence.”
Music fan Hlengiwe Khumalo said the song was unfair to women because it told men they could cheat as their women would forgive them.
“If men know how difficult it is to forgive a cheating partner, they must also stop because they are the main cheaters,” she said.
Ntombifuthi Sibiya said cheating was wrong, no matter who did it.
“Men must learn to stop cheating or teach themselves to forgive their women and stop thinking that other men have bigger 4-5s,” she said.
Xolani Khuzwayo said the song was right and he would not forgive his woman for cheating because she might do it with a man with a bigger 4-5.
“If she catches me cheating, it’s up to her to forgive me. But if I catch her cheating, it’s not negotiable – it’s over,” he said.
