We cannot let corona kill us – Prophet Mboro introduces drive-in service at his church

A drive-in, park, and pray service is currently underway at the Incredible happenings Church in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni. On Sunday Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Mostoeneng introduced a drive-in church service – one of its kind in Mzansi.

Mboro said he wanted to reach out to more people during these tough times in a fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

He prayed for ordinary members of the public including members of his church while they remained seated in their cars.

The church’s parking lot had cars lining up, as worshipers worshiped while wearing their masks and windows half-opened.

Inside the church there were also fewer congregants with their chairs at least 1.5 meters apart.

Mboro holding a speaker moved from one spot to another praying against the spread of the virus that has claimed millions of lives globally as part of his campaign to pray for the virus to come to an end.

“I have no member of my church that I have buried due to corona. We need to partner and pray together against the virus. We cannot let corona kill us. We must take necessary precautions while using our faith,” he told worshipers.

Members of the congregation said they were grateful to Mboro for giving them the opportunity to worship.

“In time like this when we have corona we are grateful to be able to go back to God. I believe in giving to the kingdom of God so he can to heal us spiritually and emotionally,” said one of the church members.

During the service, Mboro also called Mama Joy Chauke who recently told Daily Sun that she tested positive for COVID-19.

Through a loud speaker, Joy said she was grateful that Mboro was reaching out to more people. She said:“Ntate Mboro also prayed for me. I feel much better and stronger although I’m still under quarantine. I have so much strength than before.”
