Hip-Hop legend Linda “Prokid” Mkhize will reportedly be buried on Sunday at the Heroes Acres in Westpark Cemetery, which is the resting place of the late musicians such as Mandoza and Robbie Malinga.
Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Faith Mazibuko is said to be busy with negotiations to have the Soweto hitmaker buried at the cemetery.
“Together with the City of Joburg, we are negotiating that he be laid at the Heroes Acre at Westpark Cemetery. He will lay with his peers like Mandoza and Robbie Malinga.”
Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa and Mazibuko on Monday reportedly visited the family at the late rapper’s home to finalise funeral and memorial details.
“It pains us when we see them pass on at such a young age. The officials of government have been working with the family the past few days. Today we were looking at the preparations.”
The Dankie San hitmaker passed away last week Wednesday after suffering a severe seizure while visiting friends.
