Production Planner
A leading manufacturer and service provider of moulding solutions in Cape Town is looking to appoint a Production Planner. This role will suit an experienced operational person who understands the dynamics of a multi-machine manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
·
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
·
Grade 12
·
Btech in Operations Management / National Diploma in Production Management or Supply Chain Management
·
Computer Literate
·
Advanced Excel
·
ERP software experience like SAP, Syspro or similar
Duties:
·
The planner is responsible for effectively maintaining and communicating the production schedule which includes production and assembly.
·
The planner is accountable for the effective planning and sequencing of the production, assembly, shrinking and packaging processes.
·
The planner will maintain a high level of accuracy regarding the input of operational data into the Innov8 ERP system and other electronic production tools. The HOF will communicate verbally, and in writing, all issues that will or may create risk in terms of executing and meeting the production plan objectives.

Accuracy – Reporting and data management
·
Reporting – Concise analysis of the production plan on a daily and weekly basis.
·
Teamwork- Engage colleagues in a collaborative and supportive way.
·
Communication – Communicate in a clear and precise way with the emphasis on highlighting issues that may affect the performance of the business negatively.
