Prince Harry and Meghan spark separation rumours

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves at the centre of split speculation, with the rumours starting after the release of Harry’s debut memoir Spare.

The Duke of Sussex made a number of allegations about the Royal Family in his book, with his wife thought to have been concerned about the contents of the memoir.

In the bombshell book, Harry claimed he was left terrified after being physically attacked by his brother Prince William. He also alleged that their father King Charles put his own interests above his son’s.

Harry further claimed that his stepmother Queen Camilla “sacrificed me on her personal PR altar”.

The 38-year-old carried out several high-profile interviews to promote Spare, but his wife didn’t join him for the promotion.

And this is now thought to have been the watershed moment that started the false rumours of trouble in their marriage.

A source said: “Is this the way she would have approached things? Possibly not. But she will always back him and would never have got involved in promoting such a personal project.”

Speaking to the Telegraph, they added: “This was about his own life, his journey and his own perspective.”

Speculation surrounding Meghan and Harry’s marriage has also grown amid reports they are embarking on their own career paths.

Harry is reportedly heading to Africa to shoot a Netflix documentary, while Meghan is due to stay behind and work on her own projects.

Split rumours intensified when Meghan decided not to join her husband as he attended King Charles’ Coronation back in May.

There have also been rumours that financial pressures have put “stress” on the couple, following the collapse of their $20million (£15million) Spotify deal.

It had previously been claimed that Meghan was spending a lot of time partying with her friends in Los Angeles, while her husband preferred to remain at home and do his own thing. It was also reported that Meghan and Harry were “taking time apart”.
