Government is convinced Wednesday’s investment conference will go a long way in uplifting growth and creating employment.
But analysts are warning the pace of turning massive pledges into job-creating industries will depend on government’s commitment to reforms.
Last year’s inaugural investment conference ranked up almost R300-billion in commitments. President Cyril Ramaphosa wants to keep it rolling to reach the ambitious R1.2-trillion mark in five years.
