Eskom to reduce power cuts to Stage 1
Eskom says power cuts will be reduced from Stage 2 to Stage 1 from 9 pm on Friday.
Stage 1 power cuts will now continue until 5am on Monday.
The power utility says progress has been made in recovering generation capacity.
Eskom continues to appeal to South African to reduce electricity usage.
