Police Minister Bheki Cele says he’s disappointed by the court ruling against the Hawks in the Norma Mngoma case. The High Court in Pretoria found the Hawks acted unlawfully when arresting Mngoma.
Judge Cassim Sardiwalla has ordered that all information removed from her devices be restored.
Last year her estranged husband, former Home Affairs minister Malusi Gigaba, laid charges against her for allegedly damaging a Mercedes G wagon. She was then arrested by the Hawks.
