Police hunt for suspects believed to be behind murder of 4 people in Inanda

A manhunt has been launched for suspects believed to be behind the killing of four people in Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal.

It is understood that one victim was shot late on Monday night, while three others were gunned down in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police arrived on the scene following reports of a shooting, where they were met by the bodies of two men and a woman with multiple gunshot wounds.

The body of another man was discovered a few metres away from the first crime scene.

According to police, his neighbour was also shot at but survived the ordeal unharmed.

Police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda, said that an unknown number of suspects are understood to have later entered a nearby house, where they demanded the keys for a minibus taxi.

“It is not yet clear if the incident is linked to the triple murder. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects or any information that may assist in the investigation is urged to contact the nearest police station or call the crime stop number.”
