Ex- Uefa boss Michel Platini has been reportedly detained over the awarding of the 2022 World Cup tournament to Qatar.
It is understood the former French international will be questioned in a probe linked to the 2022 World Cup bid process.
Fifa decided that Qatar should host the tournament.
The decision was mired in controversy with critics suggesting the climate is simply too hot.
