Main Purpose of the Job Pam Golding Properties is recognized locally and internationally as Southern Africa’s leading independent real estate group and the country’s most awarded real estate company.
The company seeking an in-house photographer and Image editor to join their creative team. The position will be shooting and editing, photos for various properties on behalf of agents and the company to be marketed on various platforms.
We need a team player who is extremely self-motivated, resourceful, and hardworking that takes pride in their work and pays close attention to detail throughout the photography process. The person will support the implementation of the PGP Brand & Digital strategy via the effective development & editing of images to drive Brand.
This role is based in Hyde Park and preference will be given to EE candidates in line with the PGP Employment Equity policy.
Key Responsibilities
• Photograph properties for listings.
Shoot and edit images for marketing collateral for the agents
Edit and enhance photos using Photoshop
Conceptualize shoots with a good design aesthetic, set up and lighting
Organize, run photoshoots and all relevant components of actual photographing and ensure that images delivered are in line with Brand CI, compliant with Digital platform requirements, on the deadline;
Collaborate with the marketing team in the development of original and edited images for social platforms, emails, and the web;

• Have a passion for photography, branding, and technology;
Strong visual focus with an understanding of brand CI;
Deadline driven whilst maintaining quality standards of service and delivery.

Experience in digital and computer processing a plus
Basic computer software skills are preferred
Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception

Education & Experience
• Relevant qualification in photography.
Expert in Photoshop is a must, experience in other Creative Cloud apps would be a plus.
Ability to turn around images quickly (1-2 days after the shoot)
1-3 previous photography experience a must and experience in the real estate industry will be preferred
Portfolio of recent work with results – luxury brand experience would be advantageous.
Own transport is a must
Knowledge & Skills Required
• Have solid experience with editing software packages;
Be proficient with Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects;
Adobe Photoshop knowledge is essential and knowledge of other design software advantageous
