KwaZulu-Natal: Late Saturday night Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N2 Solomon Mahlangu Road near Ridgeview Durban.
Reports indicate that a good samaritan assisting a broken down motorist was struck by a car causing the initial incident.
A secondary collision involving a truck, two cars, SUV, and a mini-bus taxi then occurred leaving multiple people injured.
On scene was Netcare 911, Durban Metropolitan Police, Ethekwini Fire, and Rescue Services, Life Response 24, SAPS, and KZN VIP ems.
The occupants of all the vehicles had sustained minor to serious injuries and were treated on scene prior to transportation to the hospital.
