A new survey by The Derm Review has revealed that 60% of men are washing their 4-5s the wrong way. The survey was compiled by an online cosmetics company, which is comprised of dermatologists, qualified medical practitioners who diagnose and treat skin disorders.
Fatherly.com, an online publication reported that the medical practitioners asked 1 113 men about how often they wash their 4-s.
Elle McLeman of Derm Review said the majority of the participants on the survey said they wash their pen!s once a day.
“Washing it too often can actually cause problem. The skin in this area is very sensitive and washing it more than once a day can cause irritation, dryness, and itching,” said McLeman.
He shared the following tips on how to wash your pen!s:
1. Wash your 4-5 with warm water and shower gel.
2. If you are uncircumcised, pull back and clean the foreskin as well as the tip of your pen!s.
3. Don’t use heavily perfumed products on your pen!s, as that can cause more irritation.
4. Ensure that the undercarriage is dry before putting on your underwear.
