Pearl Thusi calls out Metro FM following Dineo Ranaka suspension
Pearl Thusi has decided to defend her colleague, Dineo Ranaka after getting suspended from Metro FM.
In the early hours of today, the star got suspended from her show for misconduct after she filmed herself dancing on top of office furniture at the SABC studios in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, last week.
The 29-second video was shared after the star took part in the viral Umlando dance challenge, where people film themselves dancing to the amapiano song.
Reacting to this, Pearl expressed her disappointment as she revealed that she made a good decision by leaving the station.
A couple of months ago she said she would rather die than return to the station.
Pearl tweeted her sympathy for Dineo and expressed her displeasure at the station for suspending her. “One of the best things I ever did for my self esteem and growth was to leave Metro FM. It’s one of the decisions I’m proudest of,” she tweeted.
