ANC Treasurer General Paul Mashatile says the only way to renew the ANC is by delivering on its promise to provide basic services for the people.
He says the ruling party must also act against corrupt members without fear or favour.
Mashatile said, “we must move into the future with the kind of calibre of comrades that communities can trust, those who will fight corruption and make sure the ANC is trusted by communities.”
“We will make the ANC stronger again by having the right people. But, also address issues people are raising on the ground. Don’t waste the whole day talking about step-aside. What do people on the ground want? Some areas people are complaining about water, roads, jobs, those must be prioritised.”
