Water shutdown planned for parts of Johannesburg

Rand Water is planning shutdowns in parts of Johannesburg from 3 to 4 June.

This is to cross-connect the newly constructed pipeline to the existing pipeline at Randjesfontein.

“The areas that will be affected in the City of Johannesburg will be the western parts of Joburg, the Randburg area, the Roodepoort area, and certain areas within Soweto,” said Johannesburg Water Operations General Manager Etienne Hugo.
