Parliamentary committees to inspect Beitbridge border fence

Parliamentary committees will on Saturday inspect the multimillion-rand Beitbridge border fence.

The fence was erected as part of efforts to fight COVID-19. But an investigation found misconduct in its procurement and construction.

The investigation also revealed the inferior quality of the fence. Fourteen officials are facing misconduct charges related to the project.
