Job Description
Safety

Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations at all times (e.g.10 critical safety rules and three obligations)

Quality

Perform appropriate testing and verifications using set standards to identify product quality defects and highlight if operator controls are functioning effectively.

Housekeeping

In the area of work, maintain world-class levels of housekeeping according to the 5S housekeeping standards
Operational

Ensure all conveyed Finished Goods are received and processed efficiently, such that no disruption occurs to production assets.
Ensure continuity and communication between Operations and palletizing operations.
Conduct appropriate reconciliations between production reported on the assets, Finished Goods received and processed, and filled pallets handed over to Outbound for distribution.
Conduct all operations in the most efficient manner possible.
Ensure FLT operations are compliant and safe – make sure FLT operator’s license is valid, conduct appropriate maintenance on FLT’s (check-list, gas refilling, etc.)
Supervisory

Organization and supervision of staff working in the area, such that all problems are addressed timeously, coverage is unbroken, and operations are unhampered.
Appropriate line management of repartee’s.
Technical

Higher-level technical resource, assisting with all maintenance and breakdown corrective action on equipment.
Maintain and operate all equipment in such a manner that the equipment is always in optimal condition.
Identify and conduct appropriate improvement ideas.
Skills / experience

Four (4) years of supervisory and/ or processing experience in high-speed packing environment. SAP knowledge an advantage. Technician qualification an advantage.

Computer skills ( Excel , SAP,).
