The trial against the man accused of killing UJ Soweto campus student, Palesa Madiba, begins today. Madiba was last seen at her friend’s home during the Women’s Day long-weekend in 2013.
Her remains were found in a shallow grave on the same property almost three years later.
And almost six years later, police have arrested her friend’s uncle Dumisani Mkhwanazi,
The friend has now turned state witness after initially claiming she didn’t know what happened to Madiba.
