The Packing Operator is responsible for operating the packing machine with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

Ensure that production targets are net
Ensure correct packaging material and consumables are used
Make sure that all safety standards and procedures are adhered to at all times
Record production and breakdowns
Do stock counts on packaging material
Ensure that the highest level of housekeeping, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all the times
Continuously improve work methods to make work easier
Minimum Requirements

Matric with Maths & Science or equivalent
2 – 3 years experience in a food manufacturing environment
Good communication skills
Ability to fill in documentation correctly
Ability to handle the pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
