RIO SOL is largest same-day bespoke, hand made Cake / Bakery business based in Pretoria (just behind Ikea), open till 10 pm, 7 days a week. We are a fast-growing company (probably the fastest growing cake company) and aim to go become one of SA’s largest Cake Makers. Within our growing organisation, we are making thousands of FRESH Cakes and pastries, each month. We aim to be 200 strong in the coming 24 months. We have a truly unique concept and in many respects are reinventing how to shop for a cake.

Job Summary

We are looking to recruit for a kitchen porter/ cleaner. The role will include routine tasks in the bakery, including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation. You will also be required to do cleaning duties in the office, which is situated on the other side of the bakery.

Job Responsibilities

Cleaning of the bakery, including wiping down the production desks
Washing bakery equipment used on a day to day basis.
Cleaning the office including hoovering, sanitizing and wiping desk surfaces.
Moving and organising of stock as and when required.
Qualifications and Skills

Preferably have a commercial cleaning background within a bakery/ kitchen
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

We are located just a few minutes from the North Circular (Pretoria/ Neason/ Ikea) with free parking. The Metropolitan/ Jubilee Line at Wembley Park as well as an overground route to Martinex all of which is just 10-15 minutes walk. There is also a bus (number 92), which comes from Pretoria Central.
