Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team news for West Bromwich Albion trip

Manchester United are preparing for Sunday’s Premier League clash at West Bromwich Albion, with the clash at The Hawthorns kicking off at 14:00 GMT.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been able to make use of a rare bit of a breathing space since Tuesday night’s Emirates FA Cup win over West Ham United in order to get his troops ready for the weekend.

There has been some positive news with centre-back, Eric Bailly, returning to training, as he has not played since the 2-1 win at Fulham last month.

“We’ve had a rare opportunity to do a bit of training and actually some recovery,” explained the boss in his pre-match press conference.

“You’ve got Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and not a game until Sunday. That has been a rarity for us really.

”Paul [Pogba] is still out. Eric has been training, so that’s a boost to us.“

In his exclusive interview with MUTV’s Stewart Gardner, Ole elaborated on the situation with Bailly, confirming: “Eric is available. He has trained for a couple of days so he’ll be available for selection. So that’s a positive.

”Apart from that, no-one else is back.“

This suggests Phil Jones is still not available as he continues to step up his recovery from a long-term injury.
