Our client based in Durban is seeking to employ a Nurse Manager at their private hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all nursing operational activities including HR, Budgeting, Management Reports, SOP’s and more.
Required Skills
management experience : 3 to 4 years
nursing experience : 4 to 5 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements to apply:
Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
A relevant Management qualification is essential.
At least 5 years professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution.
At least 2-3 years management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution.
Private hospital experience is essential.
Comprehensive experience with quality improvement processes and development of strategies to achieve excellence.
Good knowledge and understanding of legislation impacting healthcare and the industry in general.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Scientific Nursing Process and ensures compliance within the hospital.
Strong leadership abilities.
Strong financial acumen and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Displays sound judgement in problem-solving.
