Numsa concerned by the decision of Scopa to stop an investigation into Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa says it’s concerned by a decision to stop an investigation into Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter.

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts has halted a probe into allegations of racism and abuse of power.

The allegations were raised by Eskom COO Solly Tshitangano. Numsa says it has “no faith” in the investigation launched by the utility. It also says De Ruyter demonstrated a total inability to stabilise Eskom.
