Like many other Mzansi celebrities, Zodwa Wabantu is a huge fan of Gomora actor Sicelo Buthelezi. The reality television star and dancer took to Instagram to gush over and show love to the talented actor. “@seekay_sa Skhokhorico I’m a Fan,” she posted.
Last year Zodwa raised eyebrows when she revealed that she had a crush on Gomora actor Ntobeko Sishi who plays Ntokozo Dlamini on the telenovela. She received a lot of backlash as many saw this as inappropriate considering that she is way older than him.
Chatting to Mac G on Podcast N Chill in 2020, Zodwa revealed that she and Ntobeko speak in the DMs, leaving many to wonder whether something is happening between the two.
Back on the Sicelo topic, whether Zodwa has a crush on him or not – one can’t deny the fact that he is a super talented actor. Even former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi showed some love to the actor back in April 2020 tweeting, “Please tell Teddy that he’s a fave!”
Sicelo’s hard work has not only ended in congratulations on social media but earned him a Royalty Soapie Award. He walked away with the ‘Outstanding Newcomer Award.’
Opening up about his historic win to his followers, Sicelo revealed that he didn’t picture his life being where it is now a year prior.
“Last year during this time, I was sitting at a rehearsal room at The Market Theatre Laboratory not knowing what I’ll be doing after my graduation day,” he shared. “I set there alone watching others plan their stuff and I thought to myself “I may not know what I’ll do next year, but I know for a fact that God will guide me”, look at me now an Award with my name on it wow!” He posted.
Buthelezi also dabbles in other things including music, mainly Amapiano and he’s quite a hit on Tik Tok. His videos always end up trending. He recently dropped a single titled Mapakisha with Masterpiece and Tyler ICU which has received a lot of positive feedback from the masses.
Gomora is currently in its second season and viewers can’t get enough of the action. Ntokozo, Mazet, and Mam Sonto have been arrested for the murder of Mbongeni and various other crimes. They are set to appear in court.
