Noluthando hardly ever goes out partying but that one time she went out, she met the man of her dreams, Andile. This was back in 2012. There were quite a lot of people at that house party but it was Noluthando that caught Andile’s eye that day. He approached her and it was his manner of approach that actually worked in his favour. You see, Andile was not like all the other guys at the party who were busy using the street smart lingo on Noluthando. He was the perfect gentleman and Noluthando liked that, a lot!
She messaged him first the following day and they chatted for about six months and by then, she had already friend-zoned him. He’d ask her out on date and she’d not show for it, and it was only until he invited to hang out at a place closer to her house, that she finally agreed to meet up with him.
Settling into parenthood was a bit of a challenge for them. They had their daughter a year into the relationship and they were still getting to know each other. He was also going through a tough phase in his business. Andile just sent lobola to Noluthando’s family and her family called her and told her about it. It took her by complete surprise! Talk about confidence, LOL!
