
Twelve suspects are appearing in the Thaba Tshwane Military Court for a break-in at the Lyttleton military base in Pretoria. Nineteen R4 rifles were discovered missing from the base on Monday. It’s believed the theft took place over several weeks.
It is alleged to be an inside job which took weeks of planning. The stolen weapons were found in Hammanskraal. They were discovered without their closing locks and ammunition.
