DA MP Natasha Mazzone has been announced as the new Chief Whip of the Democratic Alliance.
Her appointment was confirmed to the party’s caucus in Parliament on Thursday morning.
Mazzone becomes the first woman Chief Whip of the DA.
Jacques Julius will remain in his position as Deputy Chief Whip following his election in May of this year.
Solly Malatsi has been appointed as Parliamentary Counsellor to the DA Parliamentary Leader.
Former Chief Whip John Steenhuisen was appointed as the party’s Parliamentary leader following Mmusi Maimane’s resignation as DA leader and Parliamentary leader.
