Mzansi celebrity friendships we didn’t see coming – Pictures

Have you ever spotted a group of friends and secretly wondered what could have possibly drawn them to each other, especially when the pairing looks rather ‘disjointed’ from the outside?

Cliques are not just for high school, but also this trend exists in professional settings.

In celebville, sometimes it’s easy to assume why certain individuals are BFF’s. However, the list of the celebs below looks at some of the friendships that totally took us by surprise!

1. Minnie Dlamini – Jones and Rachel Kolisi.

Minnie usually refers to Rachel as ‘Friend’. We wonder how and when this formation comes about. #Sfunukwazi!

3. Lorna Maseko and Blue Mbombo.

Many of their respective fans were surprised when their faces regularly appeared on each other’s Instagram pages. This pairing invited many concerns from social media users because of the uncertainty regarding Lorna’s friendship with former BFF, Bonang Matheba.

4. Enhle Mbali and Ntombi Mzolo.

These talented ladies gave us a rare snippet of their Sisterhood quite recently when Ntombi treated Enhle to a day at a spa!

Could this be a new friendship or they’ve been holding down this friendship thing for a while now?

5. Pearl Thusi, Nomuzi, and DJ Zinhle.

Nomuzi Mabena was one of the MC’s at the #AKAOrchestra concert in Durban last month.

Whilst introducing DJ Zinhle to the crowd, she kept referring her to as ‘my friend’. Nomuzi’s words gave us a feel into their newly formed friendship – which has subsequently included Pearl Thusi.
