Black Leopards wasted no time already appointed new coach

Black Leopards fave wasted no time finding a replacement for Luc Eymael, deciding that local is lekker.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Eymael had opted to resign from his post with Lidoda Duvha and that they would now be in the hunt for a new man in charge.

Now it has been revealed that Cavin Johnson will be coming in to take over the helm, wit the former AmaZulu coach confirming his latest challenge.

Speaking to the Siya crew, Johnson said, “Yeah, I’m looking forward to a new challenge with Leopards and it’s an interesting project to be involved in.

“Now I’m looking to get to work as soon as possible, and hopefully we can start the new year with a win.”

Johnson’s first game will see him face off against Highlands Park on January 5, having put pen to paper on a short-term deal until the end of the season with an option to extend.
