MNINI Mseleku is winning hearts across the country.

In the latest episode of Uthando Nesthembu, the eight-year-old had viewers wrapped around his little finger.

During the episode aired on Mzansi Magic, he displayed his love of farming. He could be seen feeding chickens and ploughing vegetables in his garden.

Viewers soon took to Facebook to compliment the smart young boy.

“He’s going in the right direction with farming. Wow, a very impressive young man.”

A user called Mvundlane wrote: “Mnini is the heir of that entire household, whether they like it or not. That little boy is leadership.”

Speaking in the presence of his mother, Mnini told the SunTeam he wanted to become a farmer.

“I’ve never wanted anything else but farming. I’ve always loved playing with soil and my grandfather taught me to use soil wisely,” he said.

“Sometimes my mother guides me on how to grow vegetables.”

Mnini said he liked planting cabbages, carrots, tomatoes, onions and potatoes.

“My dream is my own land where I can grow vegetables and supply them to big supermarkets. I would also like to expand into livestock,” he said.

His mother MaYeni told Daily Sun Mnini had always shown a keen interest in farming and agriculture.

“He’s very focused and intelligent. For the past few years, he has been growing vegetables. At first, I thought he would lose interest but over the years, he has proved me wrong,” she said.
