Outgoing Eskom CEO, André de Ruyter, says he’s concerned about the increase in outstanding municipal debt.
He says even though they can’t switch off the power to those in arrears, as per a court order, some solution needs to be found urgently.
De Ruyter made the comments during an update on the utility’s performance for the financial year ended March 2022.
