A family in Mthwalume, KwaZulu-Natal lives in fear after the disappearance of their daughter. Sizakele Myende was last seen a month ago when she was leaving for work.
Myende was the breadwinner in her family, and the family has since struggled to make ends meet.
“We are still looking for the Myende girl because she has been missing and I think this is the third week now.
“Yesterday we went and visited the family and the situation in that house is not so good,” said Lucky Buyeni from the Mthwalume CPF. Meanwhile, a funeral was held for one of the victims on Saturday.
At least five female bodies have been found in the area in the past four months. A suspect committed suicide while in police custody last weekend.
