RADIO and TV presenter Mpho Letsholonyane has shared an important message on Twitter: parents shouldn’t post pictures of their kids at their first days at school, and especially not the name of their school!
Mpho from Benoni, Joburg said it was dangerous for parents to post photos of their kids at their school or with their teachers, as their young ones could be exposed to perpetrators on social media.
As schools open this week, the presenter tweeted: “To parents of bundles of joy who will be starting school. Please be careful with what you post about your kids in your moment of pride.
Don’t post school name, teacher’s name and all other info that may endanger your child. We tweet among predators. Be safe. All the best. She also wished them the best in their dedication towards seeing their kids prosper when it comes to education.
