Singer Cici opens up on her motherhood journey

Singer Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala has opened up about resenting her husband after giving birth. She said her sagging b00bs and changed body used to make her feel awful, but she had now embraced the journey of motherhood.

After having a baby, it’s so tough to wake up in a different body than the one you use to have. For a little while I resented hubby because I had to do all the hard work after “WE” had a baby. I’m bad at sticking to a diet, but I’m almost consistent with gym. Just almost. I’m not there yet. And I try not to be as hard on myself.. The sagging skin, stretch mark, oh and the saggy boobs… But nonetheless it’s nice there by motherhood. Thank you to my personal trainer @just.one.more_rep and @young_again_aesthetic.”

Her post motivated her fans who also said they could relate.

They asked the Iqiniso singer for weight-loss tips.

“Sthandwa, you are motivating me. I also want this body but I’m busy eating,” wrote Lesishi.

Another Instagram user, Luqa asked: “How did you deal with saggy boobs, AKA teabags?”

Zee Khumalo wrote: “How did you get rid of stretch marks? I’m struggling.”

Cici gave birth to baby Diallo in May last year.

In one of her recent posts to her son, she wrote: “My dream is to make all your dreams come true. To be there for every win and loss. To be on the sidelines cheering: ‘you can do it’. @babydiallo, I love you.”

Mzansi hip-hop star AKA can never seem to catch a break even when he is mourning the love of his life, Anele Tembe. It’s no secret that the Supa Mega had people he was beefing within the industry and that did not change after he lost Anele in the most tragic way.

AKA00

The people he beefed with did not utter a word about the passing, at least not on public platforms, which is commendable but we cannot say the same about Ifani. Learn More
