Durban’s finest comedian, Felix Hlophe shocked his fans when by claiming that he’s just not that into monogamous relationships. This revelation has been met with mixed reactions because the famous radio personality and comedian is married to businesswoman, Tracey Smith – Hlophe. The couple celebrated their one year anniversary in November 2019.
Although his beliefs don’t exactly indicate that he would actually dive into the institution of polygamy in the future, he did stand firm in his thoughts about how “unnatural” it is for a man to be in a purely monogamous relationship, especially within the African culture.
”This idea was introduced by Christianity a few decades ago. Our forefathers had multiple wives and as a result, our children grew up with both parents around,” He told Daily Sun.
During his radio show, the comedian also added the following.Monogamy is one of the main reasons we have broken families and societies. It’s the reason we have fatherless children. It’s also the reason we have a high rate of divorce.
