Parliament has approved delaying South Africa’s mini-budget by more than a week.
Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni asked Parliament for the postponement.
The Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement will now be delivered on 28 October.
Mboweni said his request for a postponement is because of delays in the finalization of the economic reconstruction and recovery plan.
Last year’s Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement was also postponed by a week due to international commitments.
