Jacob Zuma’s drawn-out corruption trial was postponed again on Thursday.
The former president faces 16 counts of fraud, corruption, racketeering, and money-laundering, in connection with the country’s multi-billion-rand arms deal of the 1990s.
The NPA is expected to examine Zuma’s medical record with a state-appointed medical team of specialists to consider the medical evidence.
Zuma was granted parole this week due to ill-health.
