Operating out of Portland, they look after clients not only locally but all around the UK and Europe and are seeking to expand their team but recruiting additional Engineers who can offer experience and fixable solutions to their clients problems.
No two days or jobs will ever be the same and we are looking for applications from Engineers who want variety in their day to day work and who enjoy new challenges in Investigating, fault finding and the repair of a variety of Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic equipment.
The range of equipment that you could be working on is varied and vast and we are seeking Engineers who have a broad skills knowledge capabilities to work on a selection of the following
Small and larger Petrol and Diesel Engines
Hydraulic Systems
Pumps Motors
Light Heavy Plant Equipment
General Industrial Equipment
The equipment that you will be working on will not only be workshop based but also in the field.
As one of the companies Engineers we are looking for successful applicants to possess the following
Excellent mechanical skills
The ability to fault find, diagnose and offer solutions to a varied range of mechanical issues
Experience of carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
Any formal mechanical or electrical trade qualifications would be desirable but not essential as experience is more important
Full UK driving license is essential for the role
The ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
A flexible approach to working hours as the company operates a response service 24 hours 7 days a week 365 days a year and as business needs their staff to be available to cover some of these call-outs.
