We are looking for a well organized, energetic and driven marketing assistant to join our marketing department in Menlyn, Pretoria. The candidate will assist with primary and administrative duties and provide support to the marketing department for a group of luxury hospitality brands.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist the group Marketing Coordinator with day to day functions in the Marketing department.
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department.
Assist in executing planned marketing campaigns on various platforms according to set schedules.
Assist with database management.
Gather information and draw up monthly reports from data (social media, web analytics, rankings)
Assist with the administration for trade shows.
Source quotations from various service providers and negotiate.
Attend to client emails and requests when required.
Resizing and Uploading of photos on various OTA websites.
Will be required to travel to Limpopo for meetings 1-2 times a month.
Skills & Qualifications:
Matric/ Grade 12
BCOM Marketing Degree will be an advantage
Google Certificate in Digital Marketing or equivalent
Good communication skills and telephone etiquette
Excellent digital skills
Creative thinker
Detail orientated
Social media enthusiast
Comfortable with Google Ads
Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
Basic Photoshop and InDesign skills will be an advantage
Candidate should be highly organized and deadline-driven
Ability to work in a team, but be able to manage own time and prioritise when required.
Ability to think out of the box
