Mango offers employees voluntary severance packages

Mango Airlines is offering voluntary severance packages to its approximately 700 employees.  The low-cost airline’s business rescue practitioners hope to have this process finalised by the end of November.

Mango’s fleet has been grounded since July and the airline has been unable to generate revenue.
The budget airline, which is a subsidiary of state-owned SAA, is about R2.5-billion in debt.
