Mango flights set to be grounded

Low-cost airline Mango is heading for turbulence. The airline’s entire fleet is set to be grounded on Saturday evening.

Mango technical support, as well as SAA technical support, has been suspended due to non-payment.

This comes after domestic flights have been given the all-clear under alert level 1.

Meanwhile, government has not yet revealed its travel list which will regulate destinations and incoming flights.

SAA spokesperson Tlali Tlali stated a series of meetings would be taking place over the weekend between the airlines in an attempt to resolve the issue.
