A male pedestrian was fatally run over and dragged by a minibus taxi in Pretoria on Monday night.
The Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said this incident happened at the corner of 24th Avenue and Nico Smith Avenue in Villeria, in Pretoria.
“This man was fatally run over by a minibus taxi and dragged for a distance,” said Herbst.
Herbst said the man was crossing the road at about 8pm.
“Paramedics assessed the adult male and found that he had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene,” he added.
Police said this case is under investigation.
