Man City out for revenge against Spurs

It’s a must-win game for Manchester City if they want to stay in the title race. Days after playing Tottenham Hotspurs at the Etihad, Man City have to face them again in what might seem like a revenge match.

Spurs were playing without Harry Kane and managed to defeat Pep Guardiola’s men and I wonder if City will let it happen a second time. We all know Pep will not let that happen and so we wonder what tricks he has up his sleeve for the Saturday afternoon tie vs Spurs.

The VAR Effect!

Manchester City will play host again to Tottenham Hotspur twice in a few days. It doesn’t get any better for City even with their fantastic form. After meeting Spurs, Man City will head to Man United for the Manchester Derby. With Ole Gunnar Solskjær out for blood after the Champions League exit, Pep’s men will need to be at their best to win at Old Trafford.

It’s going to be an uphill climb for Man City to win the League and I am pretty sure Mauricio Pochettino and Ole Gunnar Solskjær are not going to hand it to them just like that. So the only way for City to win the League will be to be at their best against Tottenham this weekend and to be very brutal at Old Trafford.

So in short Man City will be out for revenge at the Etihad to claim the League. But will their performance in the Champions League affect their play in Saturday’s match? And most of all will Spurs just stand by and let City take charge or Mauricio Pochettino has learnt a few things from playing City 3 times in 2 weeks? We will wait to see how it all unfolds this weekend. South African viewers will catch the action on SuperSport 3 thanks to DStv. Remember you can also watch on the go with DStv Now.

This is definitely the game of the week seeing that Liverpool will travel to Cardiff. If things go well for Liverpool, they might increase that gap at the top. We will only wait and see. Manchester United will travel to Everton in what might be a tricky match seeing how Everton has been playing in the past. This weekend can be a game changer in the title race and top four finish.
