Malusi Gigaba’s former advisor to appear at #statecaptureinquiry

Former minister, Malusi Gigaba’s former advisor will testify before the state capture inquiry on Friday.

The commission is this week, listening to Transnet-related testimony. It was told of irregularities and irrational dealings at the state-owned entity.

The commission heard that Gigaba’s advisor, Siyabonga Mahlangu, exerted political pressure on some executives to speed up the process of enabling former Transnet CEO, Siyabonga Gama’s return to the company.

Transnet Finance executive, Yousuf Laher, wrapped up his testimony on Thursday.
