Update: One person dies after being injured in Malmesbury factory explosion

One of the people injured in an explosion at a factory in Malmesbury has died.

Police said that three people aged between 25 and 45 were injured in Monday’s incident at a feed manufacturing plant in the town.

Two are still in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries.

Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, said that the cause of the incident was under investigation.

“The 25-year-old victim succumbed in hospital due to injuries sustained. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.”
